Being Thankful

Cash Funding for Personal Injury Lawsuits, Getting to Know CMG Comments (0)

Ah early November, The Playoffs. The World Series. Football on Sundays. I look forward to November.

This time of year I turn a little older and I reminisce about the year that’s passed. 2009, thus far, has treated me well…

My favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, won the Super Bowl! That makes them champs for the 6th time, surpassing my wife’s favorite team (the Dallas Cowboys) in number of Super Bowl rings so that is double the pleasure for me! My favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees, won the World Series! The Fall is for enjoying the Playoffs, the Division Series and watching your team take a ride down the Canyon of Heroes….and even more so when your wife is a New York Mets fan. What more could I hope for in the next year – well, repeat championship titles for the Steelers and Yanks for one! But seriously, as I reflect on the year, I know how lucky I am to have all that I do and I really am thankful for it. During these tough economic times I realize each day that I am fortunate in that I have a job and bring home a paycheck. Many people can’t say that. Many of my friends and family have been through challenging times without jobs. I come to the CMG office each morning with the hope of helping our clients during difficult times of their own. If I can help our clients in even the smallest way, well that makes for a good day and makes me grateful as I reflect on the year. Making a contribution and paying it forward when you’ve been so fortunate – isn’t that what this journey is all about?
