Today I was able to work with a client that had a medical malpractice funding 1 year ago with CMG. This client’s home was in jeopardy. They were 4 months over due on their mortgage payments and at risk of losing their home. At the time of funding, our underwriting team was able to efficiently underwrite the case, but also speak to the mortgage company on their behalf to adjust the payment schedule for the client allowing. Hello everyone!!! I hope that our stories continue to keep you entertained and informed. About a week ago a new case involving a husband and wife was submitted to CMG and immediately crossed my desk. The couple was on vacation and had just left dinner. They were riding in a taxi back their hotel room and were rear ended by a drunk driver. As a result of this horrendous accident both clients suffered catastrophic injuries. One of clients had to undergo ORIF (Open Reduction Internal Fixation) of the right femar and her husband had right arthroscopic surgery to his shoulder and knee. From the information gathered by one of CMG’s customer service representatives, I also discovered one of the clients lost their job as a result and has remained unemployed.

I briefed our underwriter on the details of his case and she discovered a large amount of liability insurance coverage available by the defendant. In addition, the defendant already assumed liability. This information, along with the cooperation of the client’s attorney, helped us approve this case in a matter of hours. Working in our industry, there are times where I really feel bad for clients and the serious injuries that occur due to their accidents. Hi, everyone! I’ve just finished working on a medical malpractice case. In this particular case, it took me a few days of working with the client and attorney to get the documents we needed for our review due to the attorney’s court schedule. However, as this client was in a dire situation and desperately in need of money, the attorney was especially cooperative to our underwriting process. Suffering a broken leg while playing hockey, during his ER visit, the doctor failed to correctly diagnose his injury. As a result, this client later had to have two corrective surgeries and has been out of work for several months. Due to the loss of income, this client is now in danger of losing his house. Surgical Error causes spinal meningitis and unemployment by Alicia CSR

Hi, everyone! It’s CSR Alicia again. Nothing makes me happier than knowing my hard work has gone towards easing a client’s financial crisis. Just recently, I spoke with a client about their medical malpractice case. They had lower back surgery that, due to doctor error, caused their body to leak spinal fluid resulting in spinal meningitis for over six months. This client has been unemployed a year now and was in desperate need of some money to pay rent for the month of February. This being the end of January, time was critical.
