CMG Blogs Thoughts For the New Year

How the year has flown! Would you believe I am entering my third year with CMG? I can barely believe it myself! This past year was filled with a lot of change and excitement; I can’t wait to see what this coming year will bring. In 2009, we accomplished a lot and made some changes to help us improve our business. I am especially proud of the effort everyone has been making to contribute insightful thoughts and create meaningful dialogue through the CMG blog, and I can’t help but think that this is only the beginning of what we’re capable of.

I’m also impressed with how our customer service team has persisted and improved through increased workflow and the myriad advances we have made in assisting our clients. Helping a plaintiff receive a cash funding against their auto, medical malpractice, or slip and fall case in a timely manner is paramount, and the unwavering goal of the CSR team.

Merry Christmas from Jim and CMG Family

For my second blog I feel obliged to share with you the top 5 things that bring me happiness this season:

1) Having my son home from college.

2) Playing Elf on the Shelf with my daughter every morning. (Eddie the Elf is getting really clever!)

3) Anticipation of my flight to and from Indiana for Christmas with my wife’s family. Fingers crossed!

4) Having my little girl wrapped around my leg from fear of Santa (when will that end!)

5) Singing Christmas carols with my family on Christmas day (a tradition we have had for as long as I can remember).

Whatever the holidays bring to you, I wish happy memories for you! Safe travels and Merry Christmas from my family to yours.

CMG’s Christmas Party

The holidays are here but it feels like Halloween was just yesterday. It’s crazy how the weeks seem to fly by! Almost finished with my Christmas gift shopping, well it’s not fair to write “my” when it’s my wife that actually does all the gift shopping….but I did help with some wrapping so that counts a little I suppose. I’ve had a few holidays parties to go to as well which is always welcome because there are certain friends that I only get to see at these parties. CMG had its holiday party recently. The party was at Jim and Betsy’s home and it was very nice to socialize with my coworkers outside of the office. We had a gift exchange which was cool and I received a great gift but my wife disapproves – I suppose making a Dallas Cowboys fan drink from Pittsburgh Steelers glasses isn’t so fun for her! Anyhow, it was a very nice gathering and nice of Jim and Betsy to get us together. The holidays are a time to get together with friends and family….I’m certainly lucky to have such a wonderful family and friends and am truly fortunate for all that I have in my life.

Holiday Joy

At Last, Holidays!!!

It is obvious to most people that know me that the season I love most is summer–“La playa,” the sun, the breeze, enjoying walks in the evenings, barbeques, going out at night–but I also love Harvest and Christmas! Yes, the Holiday Season. I don’t like the freezing cold temperatures during this time, but a brighter side is that it’s shopping time!!! It’s a time for giving and sharing, getting presents from and giving gifts to loved ones is what makes me happy. I’m very thankful to work with my second family–yes, my beautiful CMG family. The holidays are also great because I can see close friends and relatives all at once, sharing what we have missed about each other for the past months, or even for the past year. Gathering during the holidays brings joy and the reminder of what is really important in life!

New Technologies @ CMG

Well is that time again at CMG when we are all trying to complete our year end projects and look forward to new ones. Our goal is to stay abreast with new technologies and find ways to be more efficient in what we do so that we can better serve our clients. This year our Marketing VP implemented a new system which has helped our company remain more competitive in our industry. Our entire office is taking advantage of technology to keep our personal injury plaintiffs up to date on their case. We have even been known to use Google Translator to communicate with some of our plaintiffs that have English as a second language. Just this week we bridged the language gap with a Russian plaintiff!

We are always trying to get better at what we do and with the economy expected to remain challenging in 2010, CMG promises to remain strong and positive as always.

In the spirit of the season, and as the marketing liaison, I’d like to take the time to address our amazing consultants! I am really pleased and would like to thank you for being a part of the CMG Consultant family network! Honestly whether you are starting in this industry, catching up, or rediscovering us, working with each one of you and listening to your ideas is always really exciting. We all know this season is a hectic one, but you are doing an amazing job in building business and helping people in need.

The holidays are around the corner, this is one of the most important times of the year to give and share; by that I mean you can be that heaven-sent angel or the voice of hope to someone less fortunate. While we all know the circumstances some plaintiffs encounter while injured or unable to work are difficult to overcome, there’s nothing more rewarding than knowing that with your efforts and consistency you helped a single mom, a family, or a widow take care of their loved ones by providing them with the means to supply the basic necessities and cheer of the season.
